Truss
A truss is a network of beams that are arranged in a triangle formation. The triangle shape distributes the force. This lets it hold more weight and not collapse. It will support roofs so it won’t break under heavy loads like snow.
Why it is important
It is important because it holds a lot more weight than other beams formations. Examples of things that use trusses are Ferris wheel, bridges, hydro towers and roofs. A lot of builders all over the world use them.
